I don't know about you, but one of my favorite shows on television today is Grey's Anatomy. Who wouldn't love Grey's Anatomy? It is a show full of drama. For those of you who haven't seen Grey's Anatomy it is about a groups of doctors, both residents and interns at Seattle Grace Hospital in Seattle, Washington. This medical drama began following the life of an intern Meredith Grey who is played by actress Elen Pompeo. The drama is about their personal lives and professional lives. Every week there is a new medical procedure that needs to be done as well as something new in one of the characters lives. The cast of Grey's Anatomy is an all star cast with Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, Sandra Oh, Katherine Heigl, Justin Chambers, and Eric Dane to name a few. The show was created by Shonda Rhimes. There have also been many famous guest stars who have had small, but important roles.
In the beginning of its run, Grey's Anatomy started out strong and over its lifetime has been nominated and has received any awards. The success of this show has increased considerably since it first aired on March 27, 2009. The popularity of Grey's Anatomy and its previous co-star Kate Walsh has produced a medical related spin-off staring Kate Walsh who plays Dr. Addison Montgomery. The spin-off is called Private Practice and airs Thursday nights after Grey's Anatomy.
Grey's Anatomy is currently airing its 5th season. Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursday nights on ABC at 9/8 Central Standard Time. If you cannot watch Grey's Anatomy on Thursday night, you always have the option of recording it. If you are unable to record it you can always watch Grey's Anatomy online.
